First guest lecture back at uniiiiiii....

Hannah claims he first started to draw to keep him entertained (maybe I should take a leaf out of his book, would defo help my kidneys). He was primarily inspired by Shirley High street in Southampton, the place in which he teaches at the university part time. During his career he says he has found photoshop to be quite repetitive, consequently, he turned to paper and wood to create some of his pieces and only used the computer for the purpose of scanning in.

Hannahs work has defo inspired me to experiment a bit more this year with Lino prints especially for poster design instead of opting for my £16 monthly adobe software. The colour schemes in some of his work aren't necessarily my cup of tea although I do like how the colours have been partnered and used to compliment the individual piece.
