FIONA BANNER

I first heard of Fiona Banner back in first year A level when I saw her exhibition at the IKON gallery in Birmingham in 2015. What stood out for me (beyond the large 'bastard word' lighting) was the realness and reality in her work. Banner writes and creates whatever the f*** she wants which initially made me laugh, but then when I thought about it I actually loved this about her work. Why the hell not talk about the raw reality of real life.
